ISS Guidelines

Students are assigned to ISS for short periods of time from regular classes from Dean Hicks or Mrs. Perry.

 

Lessons are relevant to assignments given in regular class.

 

Alternative assignments will be used as needed.

ISS Student daily assignment guidelines

Language Arts Daily assignments will follow guidelines of classroom teachers. Assignments will follow direction of regular classroom teacher relating to Google classroom or other assignments as directed by teachers.
Math Daily assignments will follow guidelines of classroom teachers. Additional subject assignments will be given according to the need of the student.
Science Daily assignments will follow guidelines of classroom teachers. Additional subject assignments will be given according to the need of the student.
Social Studies Daily assignments will follow guidelines of classroom teachers. Additional subject assignments will be given according to the need of the student.

 

P.E. Course requirements

  • This year dressing out is optional, but we highly recommend it for personal hygiene reasons.
  • Students are required to have tennis shoes (with laces or Velcro) to be able to participate and earn credit for the day.  A “0” will be given for each day the student does not have proper shoes.
  • Alternative assignments will be given for all absences.  The student will have the same number of days to complete the assignment as he/she was absent.  If student does not complete alternative assignment, he/she will receive a “0” for that day.   
  • Lockers will be assigned for storing clothes, shoes and deodorant.  All book bags, purses, phones will be locked up at the beginning of each class.
  • Students will need a combination lock from home.  There are a few locks available that can be rented from the school for $1.  No key locks!
