Parents and Students

Please remember that it would be impossible for this website to include everything in which students are responsible for in my class.  Things come up which cause deviations in the best laid plans.  Please remember that it is ultimately the students responsibility to pay attention in class each and every day for additions or deletions to the content on this website.

 Make Up Work Policy

After an absence, it is the parent and student’s responsibility to request make-up work. You will have one week from day of absence to complete the assignment to receive full credit. (The make-up assignment must be done accurately and fully completed to receive full credit.) Anything past the one-week deadline will receive half credit but must be done accurately and fully completed.

Missed tests will be made up in class. It is the student’s responsibility to notify the teacher of the make-up test request immediately upon returning to school. The teacher will then designate a date for making up the test.

Homework Days For Learning Strategies

Monday's and Thursday's will be assigned homework days for the students. It is the students responsibility to ask for assistance if they are struggling with a particular subject area and/or assignment. Homework days can change if we have school activities that have been scheduled throughout the week and/or students have not completed the curriculum in class. Students will receive a weekly participation grade for homework days. If they do not have homework for any of there classes on homework day an assignment will be given to them to work on for that day. Studying is considered homework.
