VETERANS DAY PROGRAM
You are invited to attend a special assembly in honor of Veterans Day in the gymnasium on Thursday, November 6 at 2:00 p.m. Parking in front of the gym will be reserved for Veterans unable to walk long distances. All other guests will park behind the gym and football field.
SWIM TEAM NEWS
Parents of students interested in trying out for the swim team need to attend a mandatory meeting on Friday, November 7th at 6 pm. Contact Mr. Hicks for more details.
November 10th: Team, Club, and Individual Make-up Pictures
Jim Owen Studios will be on campus November 10th to take team, club, and organization pictures. Student portrait make-ups and retakes will also be made that day.

Ernest Ward Check Policy
THIS DOES NOT PERTAIN TO SCHOOL LUNCHES. The cafeteria is separate from the school. You may send your check made out to EWMS cafeteria for lunches.We have a "No Personal Checks" policy at Ernest Ward Middle School. We do not accept checks for any reason. If you need to make a payment of any kind to the school you MUST have CASH, money order or a certified check from your banking institution. This includes book fines, fundraising items, uniforms, tickets for school sponsored events including ball games, dances, etc...If you have reservations about sending cash you may send the money in a sealed envelope with your child's name printed on the front, and instruct him/her to turn it in to the bookkeeper as soon as he/she arrives at school in the morning or give it to his/her homeroom teacher upon entering homeroom class. We regret this policy became necessary and are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you. THIS DOES NOT PERTAIN TO SCHOOL LUNCHES. The cafeteria is separate from the school. ATTENTION: INCOMING 7TH GRADERS
All incoming 7th grade students are required to have their Tdap vaccination prior to school starting. If your student has not been vaccinated he/she will NOT be able to attend school.
Arrival/Drop Off Time
The earliest Student Drop off time is 8:45 a.m. for students who eat breakfast in the cafeteria. All other Students drop off time is 8:55 a.m.
There will be NO checkouts after 3:30 p.m. Also, there will be NO phone messages given to students.
